Surface lapping is a process that delivers the clients’ tolerance, flatness, parallelism, and surface finish requirements by using abrasive materials to polish the workpiece.

Edge grinding is a procedure that creates a scratch-free edge to the glass for architectural, medical, and aerospace applications.

Chemical strengthening. This chemical treatment process strengthens the glass without warping the surface. It enhances the glass’s durability, strength, and temperature resistance for energy, laboratory, and semiconductor applications.

Thermal tempering. This process applies extreme heating and cooling to the glass material to increase its strength. If broken, the glass fractures into small rounded particles less likely to cause harm. It is ideal for lighting, appliance, and vehicle glass.

Ultrasonic machining. A precision machining technique that removes small sections of glass at a time without heat, chemicals, or electricity. Ideal for components sensitive to stress, ultrasonic machining is commonly used in critical industries like aerospace and semiconductor manufacturing.

Drilling. A fabrication method that allows us to drill precise holes in various glass materials. Our diamond-tipped drill bits cut materials up to 0.75 in. thick with a +/- 0.01 in. tolerance.

CNC machining. Computer numerical control (CNC) machining can precision cut and fabricate various materials using a client’s drawing or CAD model. It is suitable for precise aerospace, automotive, and medical components.

Waterjet cutting. A versatile cutting method that can cut various widths and thicknesses of many materials using a high-powered stream of water. This precise cutting technique is ideal for fabricating solar panels, semiconductor wafers, and ornamental components.
