Chemical Strengthening 

Chemical Strengthening is a process in which glass is fortified using an ion-exchange method. It is an excellent procedure for strengthening soda-lime glass or other thin glass materials when strict flatness of thin (.125” or less), glass is essential and increased strength is required.
